“ Just a fun, great deli. Stopped by and got the corned beef sandwhich with side potato salad. The corned beef was thinly sliced, tender, and had that perfect salty-tastiness to it. The potato salad was nicely chunky. And the spicy mustard stole the show. Bonus points for their super extensive menu that went well beyond standard deli fare. Prices were reasonable. Service was friendly, kitchen was quick. Place was small-ish bit bright and welcoming. Given the food and vibe of this place, can see why it was packed. Will definitely be back if I'm in the mood for some good deli. ”
“ Amazing chicken noodle soup! Amazing corn beef sandwich! Love their food and friendly service. Perfect for lunch.I am a happy customer. ”
“ Great food at a good price served by friendly people Got the smoked meat sandwich - the bread was fresh and soft....on a Sunday. The meat was just the right amount of fat The Cole slaw was a good balance of crunchy and vinegar. & The house spicy mustard was a nice kick. I'd call it Toronto mild spicy. I'm not feeling it 20 minutes later. Since my local deli closed, I've been looking for a good one on the subway line. Found it. Good food at a good price with attentive staff Highly recommended. ”
“ This place is truly a hidden gem in the heart of midtown. We came here on a Sunday to try their brunch and were pleasantly impressed. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, coupled with the charming decorations and friendly owners, made us feel right at home. The cozy vibes and having many patrons showed us why this spot is so beloved. We ordered “Cobb Salad”, “Fully Loaded Pastrami” and “Zelden’s Smokey Benedict “. Cobb salad was a healthy starter and it was fresh and perfectly cut. Fully loaded fresh and warm pastrami (made in-house), paired with their homemade spicy mustard was the highlight of our meal. Smoked meat was fresh and a great pairing with egg benny. We would definitely love to come back and enjoy more of their menu. ”
“ I ordered the Big Z and it was the best deli sandwich I’ve ever had. It was so huge I couldn’t finish it! The coleslaw and fries were amazing too! The Staff were very friendly, especially Irene & Shelley! What an amazing atmosphere! Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area! 5 Stars across the board! ”
“ I just ordered the chicken noodle soup and had it delivered with Uber to the hospital. My husband is currently an inpatient. I can’t remember the last time I had homemade chicken soup that was that good and to top it off someone get well soon with a heart on the outside of the bag. I can’t wait to go and visit this place in person.!! Thank you so much. It’s exactly what I needed. ”
“ This place has truly become my happy place. I come here not only for the delicious food—which is always wholesome and made with so much love—but also for the warm, welcoming staff and the cozy ambience that instantly lifts my spirits. For the past two years, this spot has been my go-to—whether I’m celebrating something special, enjoying a peaceful weekend brunch, or just needing a comforting space when I’m feeling low. It’s more than just a restaurant; it’s a little sanctuary in the heart of Yonge and St. Clair. An absolute must-visit for anyone looking for good food, good vibes, and genuine warmth. ”
“ I ordred a small corned beef sandwich with fries. It was so good I would rank it as one of the best sandwiches I've had since I moved to Toronto a year ago. Highley recommended. ”
